[Bra Tutorial] Part 2 ~~ Underwear Care Methods
How should you wash your bra? The way you clean your bra can affect its lifespan, so please read carefully!

1. Never wash lingerie in hot water. Hot water will damage the fibers. Soak the garment in lukewarm water (around 30℃) for a while, then gently pat it dry. Also, remember: do not bleach, do not iron, do not tumble dry, do not dry clean, and do not wring dry.
2. Wash light-colored and dark-colored lingerie separately to avoid color bleeding.
3. Use a neutral detergent. Avoid using detergents with strong washing power or those that leave bleaching powder to reduce color fading.
4. Before washing, remember to check the lingerie. If there are any loose threads, sew them up immediately. Also, fasten the back hooks to prevent snagging on delicate lace trim during washing!

Can I wash lingerie in a washing machine?
Never put lingerie directly into the washing machine. The washing machine can deform lingerie and damage the fabric during the wash cycle.
If you must wash lingerie in a washing machine, always put it in a separate lingerie bag and ensure the washing temperature is appropriate. This will prevent deformation and damage during the wash.
Even the high speed of the washing machine can deform your lingerie, shortening its lifespan.
There's a lot to know about washing lingerie, and many customers don't understand why bras deform so easily. Even with a lingerie bag (not just any laundry bag, see attached picture), they can still deform. Did you adjust the water temperature?
All lingerie and bras are best hand-washed. Never use a washing machine to wash lingerie, even with a lingerie bag. The high speed of the washing machine can deform your lingerie, causing the underwire to come out, and the high water temperature will damage the fabric! Don't find it troublesome, because bras are not clothes. If they become even slightly deformed or loose, they will not only look bad, but also fail to achieve the desired bra size!

Hand Washing Instructions for Lingerie (with pictures)
1. Add laundry detergent or liquid detergent, preferably a special detergent for lingerie. Wash with cold water. Residual detergent can cause discoloration, so rinse thoroughly with clean water. (Do not soak in tap water for extended periods, as the chlorine in the water can discolor the lingerie. Also, do not use fabric softener after washing, as it may damage the elastic fibers of the lingerie.)
2. Gently rub the back straps and shoulder straps with your hands. The inside of the cups only needs gentle washing with water. If the underwire is particularly dirty, you can use a soft-bristled toothbrush to brush it.
3. Gently press the lingerie and cups with a dry towel.
4. Do not wring the entire lingerie or twist the cups dry by hand, as this may deform or cause the underwire to come out.
5. If you dry the lingerie without absorbing water, the weight of the water will stretch it.
6. Hang the lingerie upside down to dry. Clip the bottom edges of the cups with clips and adjust the shape of the cups slightly. Do not clip the bra straps with clothespins! This will stretch your bra and cause it to become increasingly deformed and longer.
Summary
Hand wash in 30℃ warm water with a neutral detergent, lay flat to dry. This method will make your bra last longer! From an economic perspective, even if you buy a bra costing several hundred dollars, you won't feel it's expensive!
